Welcome to my world of expertise and passion! With 15 years in the beauty industry, I've not only shaped the Cross & Co. Salon brand but also cultivated a special bond with the curly community. Now, as a educator, I'm thrilled to share my insights and help fellow stylists master the art of curl care.
In 2018, I launched the Cross & Co. Salon brand, and in 2020, we expanded to a vibrant storefront in Plano with a team of commission and booth rental stylists. My vision goes beyond the salon chair — envisioning a future filled with fundraisers, community programs, and scholarships. Your support fuels these dreams, allowing me to give back and foster a stronger, more connected community.
On a personal note, I'm a proud Latina, rooted in Mexican heritage, born and raised in the Dallas Metroplex. My journey includes a beautiful 15-year partnership with my husband, Gabriel, a bank examiner from Memphis, TN. Together, we call Plano, TX home. When work takes a back seat, you'll find us on date nights exploring new spots, enjoying dinner and drinks with friends, or jet-setting to new destinations, both near and far. MY STORY
In my 15-year journey within the beauty industry, I've worn many hats, embracing the diverse roles that shaped my career. From hourly employee to commission stylist, booth renter, and suite renter, every step cultivated my skills and understanding of the industry. In 2018, I launched my brand, and by 2020, I proudly opened the doors to my own storefront salon.
Transitioning from a solo artist to a salon owner, I've experienced the unique dynamics of managing a team—comprising both commission and independent stylists. Recognizing the importance of textured hair expertise, I personally trained each member of my staff, tailoring their education to ensure a deep understanding and mastery.
Passionate about education, I've hosted in-person classes, one-on-one trainings, and embraced the virtual realm, creating online courses to share my knowledge far and wide. Teaching and assisting fellow salon professionals in understanding and working with textured hair have become the heartbeat of my career.
As I continue this journey, my commitment remains unwavering—to empower others within the beauty industry.
